About Us
| I suppose for all intents and purposes this page should really be named "about me." That is to say that, to date, there is only one face behind the name "Re-Membering Me." That name is Cindy Zeis RMT, IARP. Who is Cindy Zeis? I'm glad you asked. If I were to list my credentials it would read: Reiki Master/Teacher, Wellness Coach, Ordained Minister, Guided Meditation Facilitator and a few others that just don't seem relevant in my life at this time. Of course, credentials are only a list of qualifications but don't really speak of who I am. I am a woman who has made a commitment to foster growth and nurture well-being both within myself and within others. I am a woman who has known dis-ease physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am a woman who has found the path of well-being and believe it is open to everyone. I am a guide, I am a friend, I am a mentor. This is who I am. |

My Teaching Philosophy
| As a result of my experiences with a number of wonderful teachers throughout my lifetime I have found that a teacher is best described as one who has expanded their awareness beyond that of their student pertaining to a particular subject(s) allowing them to offer words that will stimulate the process of learning within the student. Once the creative process has been excited the student will find doors of learning opening to them allowing them to expand their experience on the subject matter. The greatest teachers in my life have encouraged my journeys through these doorways of learning The best teaching I have gotten throughout my lifetime has been through the experience of situations more so than the reading about them. Although the books and the words are very beneficial to sparking the creative flow I owe greater credence to those teachers who have shown me the pathways to learning and healing rather than just speaking them to me. One of the greatest benefits I have received over the course of many years has been a shifting of my beliefs about life itself. I have come to know that life's journey does not need to be a difficult one. The experiences we manifest into our lives are limitless in their potential and need not be arduous in process. Although I am dedicated in my work I believe the process of learning should be fun and full of life. There are no obstacles that can be overcome without the echo of laughter in the background. I am not a fool in knowing that although I may be called teacher my students ultimately and assuredly are teachers of me. I welcome the synergy of teacher & student & teacher & well....you get it.
